Electrostimulation

Muscle stimulation by means of impulse electric current. The treatment causes controlled muscle contraction omitting the part or whole nervous system responsible for contraction in the correct conditions. It has the wide application in neurological diseases when the conduction of nervous impulses to muscles is disturbed. Electrostimulation is used in the treatment of muscle strength weakness, partial damage of peripheral nerves, muscle atrophy, secondary effects of flabby muscles paralysis.
